Hi everyone 🌿 I’m trying to fix my posture and I’m a bit lost with all the yoga styles. I work at a desk all day and I’ve noticed my shoulders round forward, neck sticks out, and my lower back feels tight. I’m not looking for anything super acrobatic, I just want a type of yoga that actually helps posture (and ideally teaches you how to stand/sit better in real life).
I’ve tried a couple YouTube flows (mostly vinyasa) and I feel good after, but I’m not sure it’s “posture improving” or just stretching. Would something like Hatha or Iyengar be better? Or even yin? I can go to classes 2x/week.
What type of yoga improves posture the most, and what should I look for in a class/teacher so I don’t reinforce bad form?
