Hi everyone 🌿 I’m trying to figure out what the best yoga style for flexibility is, but I’m getting overwhelmed by all the options (yin, hatha, vinyasa, hot yoga, etc.).
A bit of context: I’m not athletic, I sit a lot for work, and my hamstrings/hips feel super tight. I’m not trying to do crazy Instagram poses, I just want to touch my toes again, open my hips, and feel less stiff in my back. I’ve done a couple YouTube “stretch yoga” videos and I like it, but I’m not sure if I should commit to a specific style/class to actually make progress.
Also: is it better to do short sessions daily or longer classes a few times a week? Any beginner-friendly style recommendations for flexibility without feeling lost or embarrassed in class?
Thank you 💜
