I’ve been doing yoga nidra recordings for a few months (mostly body scan + relaxing on the back). Recently I saw a class called “advanced yoga nidra visualization” and I’m not sure what makes it advanced.
Is it like imagining scenes more vividly? Or working with chakras/symbols? I’m curious because sometimes when a teacher asks me to visualize light or a place, my mind either goes blank or I start overthinking and I lose the relaxed state.
If anyone practices advanced yoga nidra visualization, what does a session usually include, and how do you know you’re doing it “right” without forcing it? Also, any tips for people who aren’t naturally visual thinkers would help.
