I’ve been dealing with super tight hips from sitting all day (desk job + commuting). I’m not chasing crazy splits, but I do want that “deep hip release” feeling and less stiffness in my lower back. I’ve tried a few vinyasa classes and felt good, but it didn’t always feel like it got into the deep layers.
What are the deepest hip opening yoga styles (or class types) you’ve found for hips? Like pigeon, lizard, frog, butterfly—stuff that actually changes how your hips feel over time. I’m also curious what’s safest because sometimes I feel pinching in the front of the hip. Any recommendations for styles, teachers, or what to look for in a class description?
