I’m asking because lately I feel like my patience is basically gone 😅. I work on a laptop all day, I’m always switching between messages, deadlines, family stuff… and I notice I snap at tiny things (slow people in line, a coworker asking “one more quick thing,” even my partner chewing too loud 🙃). I’ve tried “just breathe” and it helps for like 10 seconds.
I’m thinking about starting yoga more consistently, but I don’t know if it actually helps with patience or if it’s just a nice stretch. For those who practice: did yoga improve your patience in real life (not only during class)? If yes, what style or habits helped the most? I’m not super flexible and I’m also a bit self-conscious in classes, so I’d probably start at home.
